Manama: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH), congratulated Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, on her election as Vice President of the World Health Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah noted that the Health Minister's active participation and strong presence have projected a positive image of Bahrain's healthcare system and contributed meaningfully to this international milestone.
SCH President also emphasised that the election highlights Bahrain's reputation as a reliable partner in advancing global health priorities. He emphasised the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the World Health Organization and collaborating with international stakeholders to shape effective and inclusive health policies.
