Saudi Ministry of Hajj Sets Dhul Qa’dah 1 as Umrah Departure Deadline

Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Shawwal 15, 1446 AH, corresponding to April 13, 2025, will be the final date for receiving Umrah performers entering the Kingdom, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry confirmed in a statement that Dhul Qa'dah 1, 1446 AH, corresponding to April 29, 2025, is the final deadline for the departure of Umrah performers, emphasizing that any stay beyond this date will be considered a violation subject to statutory penalties.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the ministry called on individuals, Umrah companies, and institutions to fully comply with the regulations and instructions governing the departure of Umrah performers within the specified period. It warned that any delay in departure will be treated as a violation subject to fines.

It also noted that failure by companies to report overdue Umrah performers may result in financial fines of up to SAR 100,000, in addition to legal action against the entities or individuals responsible for the violations.
