Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) hosted a meeting for newly awarded scholarship students, showcasing its commitment to educational care. The initiative underscores RHF's ongoing efforts to support its beneficiaries in their academic pursuits, equipping them for future success in schools and universities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Reema Hassan, Head of the Educational Care Department at RHF, expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his continuous support of RHF students. She also acknowledged His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the RHF Board of Trustees, for his dedication to advancing education. Hassan highlighted that 1,454 students have benefited from the King Hamad Scholarship Programme, with new enrollees at the University of Bahrain, the College of Health Sciences, and Bahrain Polytechnic this year.
She extended her thanks to private universities, institutions, and individual supporters, noting that 431 students have been sponsored in recent years to study at both public and private universities.
The meeting included an orientation on scholarship regulations and a workshop titled "Ready for University," presented by Basma Al Balooshi from Excellence Quality Educational Consultancy, which aimed to prepare students with necessary skills for academic and professional success.
