Amman: Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri, Acting Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), visited the King Hussein Cancer Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to follow up on the implementation of the agreement to provide cancer treatment, medical care for the injured, and prosthetic limb services for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit is part of RHF's efforts to monitor the programme's implementation and review the medical services provided to beneficiaries. During the visit, Aldoseri was briefed on the specialised treatment services and healthcare programmes offered by the centre. He also met a number of children receiving treatment and reaffirmed RHF's commitment to ensuring beneficiaries receive the required healthcare services in accordance with the highest medical standards.

He noted that the first phase of the agreement had been successfully completed, with treatment provided to five children with cancer from the Gaza Strip. He added that the second phase has commenced and will cover the treatment of an additional five children, stressing that the humanitarian initiative will continue until the allocated treatment budget has been fully utilised.

Aldoseri expressed appreciation to the King Hussein Cancer Center and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization for their support and cooperation, commending the coordination among all parties involved in facilitating procedures and ensuring the provision of specialised medical care to the children. He also praised the efforts of the medical and administrative teams at the centre and their commitment to delivering high-quality treatment and care. He said these efforts reflect the values of humanitarian solidarity and Bahrain's longstanding commitment to supporting those in need.

The initiative is part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people and provide relief and medical assistance to the most vulnerable groups, particularly children, while promoting the values of solidarity, compassion and cooperation.
