Foreign Ministry Official Chairs GCC-China Officials Meeting

Riyadh: Ambassador Nawar Abdulla Al Mutawa, Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chaired a meeting of officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the People's Republic of China at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed the future of GCC-China relations and means to further strengthen and develop them. Key topics included political and security developments in the region, the security and stability of maritime corridors, energy security, and counterterrorism and extremism.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to advance dialogue and coordination and strengthen the GCC-China partnership in support of security, stability, development, and shared interests.
