RHF Launches Ramadhan Meal Distribution Initiative

Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has launched a daily meal distribution initiative during the holy month of Ramadhan, providing 700 meals per day to support those in need.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ameera Al Hammadi, Acting Head of Charitable and Humanitarian Programmes at RHF, stated that the initiative aligns with the foundation's mission to expand its charitable efforts and foster social solidarity during Ramadhan.

The meal preparation and distribution are carried out through Netaj Khair Al Bahrain, an RHF-affiliated center, with the support of 17 mothers and children from the foundation under the supervision of Chef Shawqi Ahmed, a culinary trainer at Qudrat National.

Al Hammadi highlighted that RHF has worked in advance to coordinate with relevant entities to ensure the successful implementation of the initiative. 700 meals are distributed daily under RHF's supervision, with the support and cooperation of Lamar Holding and Qudrat National. Additionally, Discover Islam Society and the Bahrain Food Bank, RHF's logistics partner, are facilitating meal deliveries to mosques and families in need.

She further noted the significant contributions of several supporting organisations, which have helped expand the initiative, reinforcing the values of social solidarity during Ramadhan.
