Manama: Eng. Ibrahim Dallhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), expressed his pride in the unwavering support extended to the Foundation by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that this continuous support, along with the Kingdom's paternal care for orphans, has significantly strengthened the Foundation's role and enabled it to sustain its humanitarian mission over the past 25 years, contributing to empowering orphans and developing their ability to become active contributors to society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the statement was made on the occasion of the Arab world's observance of Arab Orphan Day, marked on the first Friday of April. Al Dosari also commended the support provided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has played a key role in advancing and strengthening the Foundation's initiatives in orphan care.
He explained that the occasion coincides with the Foundation's celebration of its 25th anniversary, in conjunction with the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer," reflecting the depth of the Kingdom's visionary leadership in investing in human capital and advancing humanitarian and developmental work.
Al Dosari further highlighted that the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, has significantly enhanced institutional performance and administrative efficiency, positively impacting the quality of services provided to orphans and the implementation of high-impact initiatives aimed at developing their potential.
He added that the Foundation takes pride in its qualitative achievements over a quarter-century, having established a comprehensive system for orphan care. Throughout its journey, it has supported more than 18,000 orphans, contributing to meaningful improvements in their lives and producing numerous success stories that serve as inspiring examples within the community.
Al Dosari concluded by affirming that the Foundation continues its journey with renewed momentum, guided by a vision to achieve the highest standards of excellence in humanitarian work. He stressed its ongoing commitment to empowering individuals educationally, professionally, and socially, while enhancing partnerships with government and civil society entities to ensure the sustainability of its services and contribute to building a capable and forward-looking generation.
