RHF Acting Secretary-General Engages with UNICEF Representative on Child Welfare Initiatives


Manama: Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), met with Lana Khalil Al Wreikat, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Representative to the Kingdom of Bahrain, who is based in Riyadh. The meeting focused on exploring joint cooperation opportunities in humanitarian endeavors, especially related to child welfare, and discussed the enhancement of programs and initiatives aimed at protecting children’s rights and fostering their development.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion highlighted significant collaborative projects, including the Bahrain Scientific Complex in the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan. This project, which consists of four schools, has served around 10,000 children, providing a comprehensive and safe educational environment.



Al Doseri emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with international organizations to support its humanitarian mission and improve service quality for beneficiaries. He noted the importance of sharing expertise and leveraging international best practices in this field.



Al Wreikat, on her part, expressed gratitude for the Foundation’s efforts in child welfare and humanitarian work. She affirmed UNICEF’s desire to expand cooperative areas to achieve humanitarian and developmental goals, aiming to enhance the impact of child-focused programs in Bahrain.
