According to Bahrain News Agency, this decline was attributed to downturns in the financials, materials, and consumer staples sectors. In parallel, the Bahrain Islamic Index ended at 1,021.46 points, marking a decrease of 1.29 points from the prior close.
The trading session saw 99 equity transactions, with a total volume of 2,009,136 shares exchanged, amounting to BHD 632,541 in value. Investors showed a preference for the financials sector, which dominated the trading activity, comprising 57.50% of the total traded securities value.
