Doha: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, and His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States, witnessed the signing of an agreement and several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between their nations at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders observed the official signing of a significant agreement to purchase aircraft from Boeing. Additionally, the countries entered into a Statement of Intent for defense cooperation, a letter of offer and acceptance for MQ-9B drones, and a letter of offer and acceptance for the FS-LIDS anti-drone system.
The event was marked by the signing of a joint declaration of cooperation between the governments of Qatar and the United States, reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two nations.
