Public Prosecution and UNODC Collaborate to Boost Social Care Initiative

Manama: As part of the Public Prosecution's initiative on social care "Raaya," aimed at providing protection and support to target groups, the Public Prosecution held a virtual coordination meeting with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to enhance cooperation and complementarity of roles.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed avenues of joint work and explored mechanisms for mutual support to further develop the initiative and maximise its humanitarian and social impact. It also provided an opportunity for direct dialogue and exchange of views, enhancing mutual understanding and supporting the alignment of efforts to serve target groups.

The initiative's team expressed appreciation for the fruitful cooperation of the UNODC, underscoring the importance of continued joint coordination to ensure integration and strengthen the societal impact of the initiative.
