Deputy Prime Minister Attends Saudi National Day Reception in Bahrain

Manama: On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, celebrating the 95th Saudi National Day. Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, was also present at the event.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah conveyed the congratulations and best wishes of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and to the people of Saudi Arabia. He extended His Royal Highness's wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom under its leadership.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting their unique and exemplary bond. He emphasized that these relations have evolved beyond traditional state-to-state frameworks into a single fabric that unites the two nations and their peoples. This unity is under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah remarked on the ongoing efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, alongside HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, to strengthen cooperation and integration. He noted that these efforts are creating opportunities for joint action, benefiting both countries and peoples, and advancing development and modernisation.

Highlighting the cohesion between Bahrainis and Saudis, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that this societal base strengthens coordination within the GCC framework, opening avenues for integrated Gulf action and reinforcing the shared Arab vision with greater solidarity.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah also noted Saudi Arabia's steadfast role in promoting peace and supporting humanitarian efforts, a role built on wise leadership and further reinforced by Vision 2030 achievements. He commended Saudi Arabia's progress in various sectors and wished the Kingdom further stability.

Ambassador Al Sudairi expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their commitment to strengthening the relations between the two countries across multiple domains.
