PM’s Advisor: A major campaign to reconstruct all affected areas will be launched soon

The political advisor to the Prime Minister, Fadi Al-Shammari, confirmed the government’s success in bringing back the first batch of displaced people in northern Babylon.

Al-Shammari stressed the Prime Minister’s keenness to make this year the year of the return of all displaced people from all regions of the country, as today witnessed the return of 450 displaced people to the regions of northern Babylon after ten years.

He added, “A large and massive campaign will be launched to reconstruct all the affected areas,” pointing out that “we will visit the homes of returning families to see their conditions and address the concerned authorities to restore the homes and provide them with all services.”

He added, “The Prime Minister directed the cadres of the ministries and concerned authorities to provide all support to the returnees, including them with durable goods and relief aid to ensure a decent living for them,” indicating that “these efforts come within the framework of the government’s commi
tment to its program to achieve stability and reconstruction, which contributes to the return of normal life to all regions of the country.’

Al-Shammari pointed to the efforts of the Ministry of Immigration, which is working seriously and with dedication to return the displaced to their homes, by implementing comprehensive plans that include restoring stability and providing the necessary material and moral support to secure a decent life for them, stressing that ‘there are other campaigns that will be launched successively to return the displaced to their areas of original residence during the coming period.
