Oil Minister Meets with Bahrain Women Association President to Discuss Environmental Initiatives

Manama: Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, held a meeting with Mona Alalawi, President of the Environment Citizenship Program under the Bahrain Women Association for Human Development. The meeting focused on discussing the role of the Association in promoting environmental awareness within the community.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Dainah praised the Association's significant efforts in enhancing environmental consciousness and emphasized the importance of collaboration between civil society organizations and government entities. He highlighted that such partnerships are crucial for promoting environmental responsibility and encouraging sustainable practices to safeguard natural resources for future generations.

Mona Alalawi expressed her appreciation for the ministry's support of initiatives driven by the community. She reiterated the Association's dedication to working together on achieving the national environmental goals and advancing joint actions to address environmental priorities.
