Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Roman Marshavin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation. The meeting took place in the presence of Dr. Alexey Skosyrev, Ambassador of Russia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the sidelines of the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Show (MEOS GEO). The event is hosted in Bahrain from September 16-18, 2025, at the Exhibition World Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Dainah emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Russia, particularly in the energy sector. Both parties explored ways to enhance cooperation in energy, discussed partnership opportunities amid global changes in the oil and gas sectors, and considered exchanging expertise and modern technologies. They also deliberated on cooperation regarding sustainable energy projects.
Roman Marshavin praised the organization of the event and the richness of its program. He reiterated Russia's commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Bahrain across all energy domains and supporting existing strategic partnerships.
