NCST Honored for AI Innovation in Public Sector at 2025 eGovernment Excellence Ceremony

Manama: The Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) has been awarded the prestigious "Best Utilisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Public Sector" at the 2025 eGovernment Excellence Award ceremony. This marks the second consecutive year that NCST has been recognized for its innovative AI-supported classroom technology.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the award was presented in the presence of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior. The AI-powered solution developed by NCST enhances classroom learning by providing a 24/7 intelligent tutor capable of instant explanations, automated assessments, and personalized content tailored to each student's needs. The platform incorporates advanced AI models, including AI agents, and offers analytical dashboards for academic administrators to facilitate performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.

Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi, CEO of NCST, emphasized that the award underscores the Centre's dedication to transforming knowledge into practical applications that foster development across various sectors. He highlighted the Centre's commitment to advancing the Kingdom's digital transformation and technological readiness through its AI research and development endeavors, which cater to the needs of education, industry, healthcare, and finance.
