NATO Air Defences Intercept Third Ballistic Missile Over Turkey; No Casualties Reported


Nato: NATO air defences intercepted and destroyed the third ballistic missile to enter Turkish airspace since the beginning of the war in Iran, with no casualties reported, the Turkish Ministry of Defence announced.



According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement and remarks by a NATO spokesperson, the alliance said the air defences stationed in the eastern Mediterranean successfully engaged the missile. Residents of Adana reported hearing an explosion as warning sirens sounded at Incirlik Air Base.



NATO confirmed it remains vigilant and firm in defending all allies.
