Iraq: Iraq announced the extension of the closure of its airspace to all arriving, departing, and transiting aircraft for 72 hours as a temporary precautionary measure, based on the ongoing assessment of the security situation and regional developments.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority said the decision takes effect from 12:00 PM on Friday, March 13, until 12:00 PM on Monday. The authority added that the decision will be reassessed in light of developments, noting that airlines and relevant authorities will be notified of any further updates.
