Kuwait Detects Ballistic Missile Outside Danger Zone


Kuwait city: Kuwait’s air defence systems detected a ballistic missile outside the danger zone in the past 24 hours, confirming that it posed no threat and caused no damage, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported. The detection highlights the continuous monitoring efforts by the Kuwaiti armed forces to ensure the security of the nation’s airspace.



According to Bahrain News Agency, in a media briefing cited by KUNA, Ministry of Defence spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan stated that the armed forces remain committed to tracking aerial threats. He emphasized the ongoing high level of vigilance and readiness maintained by the military to protect Kuwait’s airspace from potential threats. The incident underscores the importance of the country’s defence systems in identifying and mitigating risks from ballistic missiles and other aerial challenges.
