MP Zainab Abdulameer: HM King’s Directives Define National Responsibility

Manama: Zainab Abdulameer, Member of the Council of Representatives, said that the current stage requires full clarity in national positions, stressing that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s affirmation that the nation comes above all and that there is no room for neutrality sets a governing principle for national responsibility.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Abdulameer said HM the King’s affirmation that Bahrain is a trust borne by all reflects a firm national commitment that requires all institutions, particularly the legislative authority, to fulfil their role in safeguarding security, stability, and unity.

She affirmed that the legislative authority renews its loyalty to HM the King’s leadership. She said the Council of Representatives will remain in the front line in supporting the state through legislation that protects the nation and oversight that reinforces sovereignty and preserves national achievements.

Abdulameer expressed strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain’s security and stability. She stressed rejection of any positions within the legislative authority that deviate from national consensus or undermine national principles and constitutional responsibility.

She stressed that the current stage leaves no room for ambiguity and requires clear national alignment behind HM the King’s leadership. She said members of the legislative authority remain committed to upholding the Constitution, laws, and their oath to protect national interests.

Abdulameer affirmed that parliamentary work must reflect firm loyalty to Bahrain, stressing that positions must remain aligned with safeguarding national security, protecting achievements, and prioritising the nation above all.

She expressed appreciation for HM the King’s confidence in extending the legislative session, noting that it reflects the need to enhance legislative and oversight efforts in line with current requirements.

Abdulameer said this confidence will drive further work to meet national responsibilities and translate HM the King’s directives into outcomes that support citizens and preserve Bahrain’s security and stability.
