Manama: Mohamed Moosa Al Balushi, Member of the Council of Representatives, said that the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa constitute a comprehensive national framework and a decisive position to safeguard Bahrain’s sovereignty and protect its security from those who seek to undermine it.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Balushi stressed that HM the King’s remarks came at a decisive moment and set a clear position in confronting threats to the nation. He said Bahrain will remain resilient against external ambitions through the leadership of HM the King’s and the awareness of its people.
He added that the Iranian attacks exposed those who aligned with the aggression and revealed those who betrayed the nation. He said parliamentary representation is a responsibility and a trust that cannot be reconciled with loyalty to enemies or complicity with those targeting Bahrain’s sovereignty. He supported HM the King’s call to ensure accountability within the legislative authority and said those who sided with traitors have forfeited their right to represent the people.
Al Balushi affirmed full support for legal measures taken against those involved in treason, including the revocation of nationality. He stressed that Bahraini citizenship is a binding commitment and that those who betray the nation do not deserve to retain it. He said these measures reflect public demand and serve to protect society and national achievements.
He affirmed full alignment behind HM the King’s leadership and reiterated commitment to confronting foreign interference. He stressed that Bahrain remains united under the principle that the nation comes above all and that challenges will further strengthen national cohesion and resilience.
