Manama: Jaleela Alawi Al Sayed, Member of the Council of Representatives, commended the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Sitra to follow up on the implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness to provide compensation to citizens whose homes and vehicles were damaged by the hostile Iranian aggression.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Sayed said the visit reflected HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's commitment to ensuring that citizens, their security and the safety of their families and property remain a foremost priority.
She highlighted His Royal Highness's field follow up on the repairs to damaged homes and noted that the repair and rehabilitation of dozens of homes in Sitra reflected the swift government response and coordination and integration among the relevant entities.
Al Sayed said these efforts reflected the spirit of Team Bahrain in addressing the repercussions of the hostile Iranian aggression and mobilising the necessary resources to support affected families.
She also conveyed the appreciation of Sitra residents for the royal directives of His Majesty the King and the order of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as His Royal Highness's visit and follow up on the repairs.
Al Sayed commended the efforts of ministries, government entities and work teams involved in repairing and rehabilitating damaged homes, noting their swift response to citizens' needs.
