Manama: The organising committee of the 26th Arab Men's Basketball Championship, to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from July 25 to August 2, 2025, has announced the opening of media accreditation registration for those wishing to cover the tournament. Media professionals in Bahrain and abroad are invited to apply through the registration link published on the Bahrain Basketball Association's social media platforms. The registration window will remain open until July 22.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Fawaz Shamsan, who oversees media and communication for the championship, highlighted the essential role of the media in ensuring the success of this major regional sporting event. He noted that the organising committee aims to ensure wide media coverage that reflects the significance of the championship and is working to facilitate procedures to support media representatives in carrying out their tasks efficiently and professionally.
Media accreditation is open to daily newspapers, television channels, news websites, and influential digital media platforms. Shamsan added that the organising committee is committed to providing a professional media environment at the championship venue, including all necessary technical and logistical support. He expressed confidence in effective collaboration with various media outlets to reflect the Kingdom of Bahrain's prominent status and distinguished role in regional and international sports.
