Manama: Ambassador Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), attended a reception hosted by Md. Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence and National Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Director General conveyed the Kingdom of Bahrain's congratulations to the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on its Independence Day. She commended the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, marking 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa emphasized Bahrain's keenness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors. She also wished continued progress and prosperity to Bangladesh and its people.
On his part, the Ambassador commended the strong ties between the two countries and underscored his country's commitment to advancing these relations in line with the aspirations of both countries.
