Manama: Nibras Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, received Tirtha Raj Wagle, Ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Bahrain: The meeting focused on strengthening Bahrain-Nepal relations and exploring ways to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Talib highlighted the role of embassies and diplomatic missions in supporting national efforts to raise awareness among expatriate workers of Bahrain's laws and regulations. He stressed the importance of joint coordination in safeguarding the rights of both employers and employees in line with international standards.
Discussions also covered Bahrain's ongoing initiatives to foster a fair, stable, and well-regulated labour market that upholds the rights of all stakeholders.
