Latin Arab Centre President Commends Bahrain’s Role in Fostering Islamic Unity

Manama: Sheikh Jihad Hassan Hammadeh, President of the Latin Arab Centre for Culture and Strategic Studies (CALCEE) and Religious Advisor at the National Association of Islamic Jurists (ANAJI), commended Bahrain's efforts in fostering Islamic unity and constructive dialogue.

According to Bahrain News Agency, he highlighted the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in advancing engagement within the Islamic nation. He noted that the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference (One Nation, One Shared Destiny) serves as a key platform for scholars, religious leaders, and intellectuals to contribute to meaningful discussions.

Sheikh Hammadeh stressed the importance of regular Islamic conferences to drive strategic initiatives that support the interests of the Islamic nation. He mentioned that such platforms enhance global engagement and reinforce cohesion within the Islamic world.

He further noted that the conference sessions address critical themes, including the role of religious scholars in overcoming sectarian divisions, strengthening unity, and promoting collaboration. Discussions, he added, focus on fostering dialogue, rejecting division, and establishing a collective vision for the future.
