Kuwait and Germany Sign MoU to Establish Strategic Dialogue

Kuwait city: Kuwait and Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic dialogue between the foreign ministers of the two nations. The agreement was formalized during a meeting between Abdullah Al Yahya, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, and Johann Wadephul, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany. This meeting took place on the sidelines of Wadephul's visit for the second High-Level Ministerial Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU), as well as the 29th GCC-EU Joint Ministerial Council Meeting.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU signifies the commitment of both countries to advancing bilateral cooperation across various strategic domains, aiming to strengthen mutual interests. The discussions during the meeting also included a review of bilateral relations and potential avenues for enhancement and development. Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on current regional and international developments, further solidifying their collaborative efforts moving forward.
