Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate. The meeting focused on reviewing the Southern Governorate's 2024 annual report, which highlighted the achievements made over the past year in development sectors through various initiatives and programmes aimed at addressing citizens' needs and monitoring project implementation in coordination with relevant authorities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH the Governor emphasized the governorate's approach to ensuring a swift response and strengthening direct communication with citizens to meet their service-related needs and aspirations. This approach is based on the principles of community partnership.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the Southern Governorate's efforts in identifying and addressing local needs, wishing them continued success in serving the Kingdom. The meeting also included discussions on several matters related to the governorate's affairs and the ongoing programmes designed to serve its residents.
