Interior Minister Commends Success of MOI Bahrain Tennis Challenger

Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with the organising committee members of the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger. The meeting was led by Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, who serves as the General Supervisor of the tournament.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Interior Minister acknowledged the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger for winning the Best Asia-Pacific Championship Award. He noted this achievement as recognition of the Kingdom of Bahrain's sporting accomplishments. The minister highlighted the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing the sports sector.

The Interior Minister praised the contributions of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), in promoting Bahraini sports. He also commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for achieving international success.

Furthermore, the Interior Minister congratulated the committee for the success of the tournament's fourth edition and emphasized the importance of maintaining this achievement and enhancing future editions. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the committee members, volunteers, and Officers Club staff. Special commendation was given to Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid for his role in overseeing the tournament, enhancing teamwork, and ensuring its success.
