Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has formalized a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charity (EZCH). This collaboration is supervised by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Al Sharif.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement is designed to enhance cooperation in humanitarian work and promote the exchange of expertise between the RHF and EZCH. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of RHF, and Dr. Sahar Ahmed Mohammed, Executive Director of EZCH, signed the agreement.
The collaboration focuses on supporting sustainable development goals and implementing various development initiatives. It also aims to facilitate knowledge exchange in humanitarian, relief, and zakat-related work, as well as capacity-building within these sectors.
Furthermore, the agreement includes provisions for offering global aid and relief to individuals facing crises due to natural disasters, conflicts, or other adversities.
