A great number of parents today flocked to schools, as part of the induction days which started yesterday, and will run until tomorrow, 08:00 pm.
Parents commended the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Education to hold such a distinguished event.
Upon arrival at schools, parents are handed folders containing detailed information about the new academic year, in addition to a voucher to enable them to purchase school stationary and supplies.
The relevant teams also accompanied parents while touring schools to inform them about their facilities, services and activities.
The Education Ministry was keen to extend the hours allocated for the induction day to give parents more time to visit schools even after official working hours.
The move is within efforts to extend bridges between educational institutions and parents, ahead of the new academic year, in which in-person learning will be mandatory.
