Gudaibiya: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting was attended by deputies, members of the Bureaus of both councils, and other council members.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the unwavering commitment of Bahrain's citizens towards the nation's development and stability. He emphasized the shared commitment across the Kingdom that reflects a strong sense of national belonging and solidarity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed pride in Team Bahrain's national responsibility and contributions towards achieving national aspirations. He pointed out that directives from His Majesty the King provide a clear roadmap focusing on national security, social cohesion, and unity to overcome challenges, including the repercussions of hostile Iranian aggression.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister acknowledged the efforts of the Legislative Branch in supporting Bahrain's development and prosperity, aligning with the aspirations of its citizens. He underscored the importance of Executive and Legislative cooperation in implementing plans aimed at achieving the Kingdom's goals.
The meeting also stressed the significance of initiatives to retain national talent, support economic activity, and create high-quality opportunities for citizens, thereby contributing to Bahrain's development. The Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed their appreciation for HRH's commitment to enhancing Executive-Legislative collaboration.
Senior officials, including His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and other ministers, were present at the meeting, supporting the discussions and future collaboration efforts.
