Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,957.93 points, marking an increase of 6.15 points above the previous closing. This rise was driven by gains in the communication services, financial, and real estate sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an upward movement, closing at 962.73 points, which is an increase of 5.63 points from its previous position. The trading session was characterized by high activity with 90 equity transactions recorded. The volume of these transactions reached 2,224,623 with a total value of BD 519,221.
Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 59.91% of the total value of securities traded during the session. This focus on the financial sector played a significant role in the overall performance of the market on this day.
