Manama: Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince, on the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day, observed annually on December 1. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman commended the exceptional progress achieved by the SCW, which has been instrumental in empowering Bahraini women and enhancing their contributions to the Kingdom's development. He highlighted the significant role of Bahraini women in shaping the nation's progress, a testament to the steadfast support they receive under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Shaikh Salman further noted that the council, under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka, has establishe d Bahrain as a global leader and an exemplary model in advancing women's roles across all fields.
