Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, the Commander of the US Central Command, along with an accompanying delegation, during their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and the United States, strengthened by a strategic partnership across several important sectors. This partnership has played a crucial role in addressing Iranian aggression.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince underlined the shared commitment to advancing collaboration across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on military and defence areas. He also emphasized the importance of building upon existing cooperation and agreements, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA).
The discussions also covered the latest regional and international developments and other issues of mutual interest. His Royal Highness acknowledged the role of the United States, alongside its allies, in maintaining regional and global security and stability.
The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, among other senior officials.
