Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa following Bahrain's prestigious accomplishment of securing the top position in the 2025 Microsoft Showcase Schools Program.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this achievement was realized by the Ministry of Education and highlights the Kingdom's commitment to advancing educational institutions through innovative programs. The Microsoft Showcase Schools Program, organized by Microsoft, sees participation from schools globally, showcasing their dedication to integrating modern technology in education.
His Royal Highness emphasized that this international recognition is a testament to Bahrain's efforts in promoting innovation, creativity, and excellence in education. By incorporating digital solutions into the learning process, Bahraini educators and students are equipped with tools to enhance educational outcomes and solidify Bahrain's standing in global digital education.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister also underscored the significance of investing in Bahrain's youth with advanced educational technologies. This approach aims to prepare a generation capable of addressing contemporary challenges and driving the Kingdom's comprehensive development.
His Royal Highness commended the Ministry of Education and the dedicated educational workforce in Bahrain for their pivotal role in achieving this milestone. A total of 130 schools in Bahrain, including 125 public and 5 private institutions, have been awarded the title of Microsoft Technology Incubator Schools. Competing against 954 schools from 60 countries, Bahraini schools achieved the highest international score.
