The meeting was part of the Crown Prince's official visit to the Vatican City State and the Italian Republic.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince emphasized Bahrain's dedication to the principles of tolerance, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue, which are key tenets promoted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The discussion underscored the importance of reinforcing bilateral relations between Bahrain and the Vatican, with a focus on mutual aspirations, coexistence, and the promotion of global peace and stability.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince highlighted Bahrain's rich cultural heritage and its strong international relationships, which have enabled the country to build bridges of communication and cooperation, fostering development and growth in various key sectors. The Crown Prince reiterated Bahrain's commitment to continue pursuing these efforts.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials.
