HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Assigns Acting Director at Ministry of Social Development

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (12) of 2026, which involves the appointment of an acting director at the Ministry of Social Development. The decision was made following a proposal by the Minister of Social Development.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict outlines that Mariam Mahmood Qassim Al Bardouli will take on the role of Acting Director of the Child Protection Affairs Directorate within the Ministry of Social Development. This appointment is a move aimed at ensuring continued leadership and oversight in child protection matters.

The edict further stipulates that the Minister of Social Development is responsible for implementing the provisions outlined in the edict. The directive is set to be effective immediately from the date of issuance, ensuring that the new leadership is in place without delay.
