According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue focused on the repercussions of the Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and other regional countries, examining their implications on international peace, security, energy supplies, maritime security, and global economic stability.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed gratitude to the US for its solidarity with the UAE in the aftermath of the Iranian aggression. The conversation also touched upon recent regional developments, particularly following the announcement by US President Donald Trump regarding a ceasefire between the United States and the Republic of Iran. Discussions aimed at exploring ways to achieve lasting regional peace and security by strengthening collective action to address ongoing challenges and support stability and prosperity.
Sheikh Abdullah praised President Trump's efforts to advance peace and reinforce security and stability at both regional and international levels. He highlighted the importance of political solutions in addressing crises, enhancing security, and fostering a stable environment for regional populations. The dialogue included commendation for US efforts in advancing peace between the Lebanese Republic and Israel.
The conversation also reviewed the enduring relations between the UAE and the US, emphasizing opportunities to enhance and develop cooperation across various fields.
