HM King Receives HRH Crown Prince of Jordan

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during the Crown Prince's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and other distinguished members of the Bahraini royal family and military leadership.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan to His Majesty the King, along with best wishes for Bahrain's continued prosperity. His Majesty King Hamad reciprocated by extending his greetings and wishing for the continued development and advancement of Jordan under King Abdullah II's leadership.

His Majesty King Hamad expressed pride in the longstanding and close ties between Bahrain and Jordan, highlighting their mutual commitment to strengthening these relations. He commended the advanced level of cooperation and coordination between the two Kingdoms across all domains, emphasizing their shared interests. His Majesty also appreciated King Abdullah II's efforts in bolstering Bahrain-Jordan relations and acknowledged Jordan's supportive stance towards Bahrain, particularly in light of the recent Iranian attacks.

HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan praised HM the King's role in enhancing the bilateral relations and historical ties between the two nations. He reiterated Jordan's solidarity with Bahrain, condemned the Iranian attacks, and supported measures to safeguard Bahrain's sovereignty and security. Furthermore, HRH the Crown Prince acknowledged Bahrain's efforts, through its presidency of the United Nations Security Council in April, in supporting Arab causes and promoting joint Arab action.
