Manama: Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Secretary General of the Bahrain Council for International Dispute Resolution, met with representatives from the University of Miami School of Law and the Miami International Arbitration Institute. The meeting took place alongside the International Arbitration and the New York Convention course hosted by the University of Miami School of Law.
According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions during the meeting centered on advancing new academic initiatives in international arbitration. The parties focused on completing procedural requirements to further their collaboration, including the delivery of arbitration courses. Additionally, they explored opportunities to expand the academic reach of the Miami International Arbitration Institute.
The discussions also aimed at broadening access to the White and Case International Arbitration Programme. This effort is part of a broader framework intended to deepen academic cooperation and expand opportunities for students and practitioners.
These initiatives underscore Bahrain's commitment to forging international partnerships that support arbitration education and professional development in the region.
