Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,933.52 points, marking a decrease of 14.75 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to declines in the communication services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a downturn, closing at 943.79 points, a decrease of 23.12 points from the previous closing. The results showed that 181 equity transactions occurred with a trading volume of 3,580,235, amounting to BD 945,155.
Investors predominantly traded in the financial sector, which accounted for 45.35% of the total value of securities traded.
