Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (34) of 2026, which approves the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This agreement facilitates the transfer of persons who have been sentenced to deprivation of liberty. The law was approved by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives before receiving royal assent.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and ministers are tasked with implementing the provisions of this newly ratified law. The law is set to come into effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette, ensuring a swift enactment of its terms.
