Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (23) of 2025, which amends Article (I) of Decree (50) of 2023 concerning the restructuring of the justice and Islamic affairs at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments. The amendment follows a proposal by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and was approved by the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree introduces a new Clause (3) to Paragraph (Fifth) of Article (I) of Decree (50) of 2023, specifically regarding the restructuring of justice and Islamic affairs at the Ministry. Consequently, the remaining clauses will be renumbered. The newly added clause is titled "Licensing Directorate."
The implementation of this decree falls under the responsibility of the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments. It takes effect immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
