HM King and Crown Prince Exchange Cables on National Action Charter Anniversary

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a congratulatory cable from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his congratulations to His Majesty, describing the Charter as a significant national milestone initiated under HM the King's leadership. HRH noted that the Charter marked a pivotal stage in Bahrain's national development, establishing the foundation of a development process centred on the Bahraini citizen and national unity.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH stated that since its adoption, the Charter has provided a framework for Bahrain's advancement, driving sustained progress over the past 25 years and consolidating development achievements. These achievements have enhanced Bahrain's regional and international standing, reflecting HM the King's forward-looking leadership and commitment to empowering citizens and advancing sustainable development within an inclusive national approach.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to building on past achievements through the unified national spirit of 'Team Bahrain', guided by HM the King's directives. HRH emphasised continued efforts to advance development in line with current priorities, aiming to shape a more prosperous future for the Kingdom and its people.

In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to HRH the Crown Prince, describing the National Action Charter as a defining milestone in Bahrain's modern history. His Majesty noted its central role in reinforcing shared national principles and public participation in national development. His Majesty commended HRH's role in advancing the principles of the Charter, particularly through chairing the committee responsible for its implementation and overseeing the development of plans and programmes.

His Majesty expressed pride in HRH's contributions to the Kingdom's comprehensive development process and appreciation for HRH's efforts to advance national priorities, wishing HRH continued success.
