Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace Shaikh Khalid bin Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, and Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al Madani, Governor of the Northern Governorate, following the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing them as governors. The two governors took the legal oath before His Majesty.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King congratulated the new governors, commending their experience and competence, and wished them success in carrying out their national duties. His Majesty also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the previous governors.
His Majesty the King emphasised that people remain the Kingdom's top priority and the focus of its development plans and programmes. His Majesty underscored the importance of meeting the needs of all governorates and enhancing the quality of services provided to residents.
On their part, the governors expressed their gratitude for the royal trust, underlining their commitment to serving the nation and its people under His Majesty's leadership.
