Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,945.64 points, marking a decrease of 1.26 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to a drop in the communication services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 854.79 points, which is a decrease of 1.02 points from its previous closing. The day's trading results indicated that 103 equity transactions took place, involving a volume of 2,621,350 and a total worth of BD 443,814.
Investors primarily focused on the financial sector, which represented 67.05% of the total value of securities traded, highlighting a significant interest in this sector despite the overall decline in the indices.
