Manama: His Excellency Ahmad Al Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, arrived today in the Kingdom of Bahrain for an official visit. During his stay, he is scheduled to hold talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, led the official reception for President Al Sharaa and his delegation upon their arrival. The ceremony took place at the airport, where the Syrian President was greeted by senior Bahraini officials.
Following the reception, President Al Sharaa proceeded with His Highness to Sakhir Palace, where further meetings are expected to take place. President Al Sharaa's visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss key areas of cooperation between Bahrain and Syria.
