Cape Canaveral: SpaceX launched 28 new Starlink satellites into orbit, in its second launch within less than six hours, to enhance the high-speed satellite internet network. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida, carrying the satellites into orbit on a 65-minute flight. The rocket's first stage successfully landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean eight minutes after launch.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this was the 55th Falcon 9 launch in 2025 and the 38th dedicated to supporting Starlink, which now comprises over 7,100 satellites providing internet coverage to most parts of the world. The company had launched another 26 satellites on Friday evening from Vandenberg Base in California.
