Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, has directed the launch of the Gadeha Youth Training Camp. This initiative targets young individuals aged 10 to 17 of both genders and will be held from August 8 to September 3, 2026, at Exhibition World Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the camp is part of ongoing efforts to nurture young talent and instill values of national belonging, discipline, and responsibility. It offers a comprehensive training program that combines physical and educational challenges with life skills, set in a military-inspired environment under the guidance of specialized instructors.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized that the Bahraini youth are the Kingdom's true wealth and that their development is essential for the nation's continued progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stated that the Gadeha Youth Training Camp embodies a comprehensive national vision aimed at preparing a generation equipped to face challenges by instilling values such as discipline, self-reliance, teamwork, leadership, and accountability, while reinforcing national identity and a sense of belonging.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted that the camp aims to deliver high-quality programs enabling participants to acquire life skills, enhance their future readiness, and increase their understanding of the military and security services' national role in protecting the Kingdom and its achievements. This is intended to reinforce values of loyalty and positive citizenship.
The camp provides 30 training hours over six days for each group, with daily sessions from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Exhibition World Bahrain. Participants will engage in various stations and challenges designed to test endurance, concentration, and reaction speed, while developing life skills that promote self-reliance and responsibility. Additionally, they will gain practical insights into military work and the roles of the military and security services.
